In 2023, Queensland experienced a 21.6% increase in domestic violence orders (DVOs), equating to 6,958 more incidents than the previous year. This surge highlights an urgent humanitarian crisis requiring enhanced support systems and legal protections.
Jireh Impact Foundation and Birch Foundation jointly organised "Pass The Torch" (PTT) on 9th Nov 2024, A relay run/walk event symbolizing solidarity against domestic violence.
